Wonderful Wedding

We were delighted to be at The Yoghurt Rooms over a marvellous mid-May weekend catering our friends' amazing alternative wedding. Board games & burning dragons on Friday night and axe throwing &d archery on Saturday were accompanied by our usual noodle and breakfast fare but topped off with a full venison and juniper roast after the ceremony.
Understanding that venison isn't for everyone we also served salmon and our very own 'Not Game' Vegetarian Pork Pies which were a hit with veggies and carnivores alike. While a spit roast was discussed we decided to deliver mouthwatering tender venison joints instead and served a tasty vegetarian gravy so no-one need miss out. While we didn't provide pudding this time (as the bride knows fabulous bakers who can also cater for those with gluten intolerance), we did supply Rhubarb Compote, Hot Tangy Herb Chutney and Caramelised Onion Chutney to accompany the Cheese Wedding Cake.
We would like to thank Nikki and James for choosing us for their wedding, Drewbus for being a fabulous sous chef and Lucy for helping out over the weekend. Also, Afka and family at the Yoghurt Rooms for making us feel so welcome and helping us settle into the unfamiliar kitchen. Finally, thank you Teddy for having some kind of routine over the weekend so mummy could help ensure that the food was as roaring a success as the wedding itself.
